Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Seriously. They're just probably telling you this to please you. I know someone who was told theirs is picked, they tried another chat for fun for that person to tell them something different. Farce

I’ve just spoken to someone on chat and she’s confirmed that there are no pro max’s in the warehouse for release day. I don’t think EE CS have any idea what’s going on and tbh I’m giving up with it. If I don’t receive anything by early next week I’ll try them again.

Yes I imagine they will and are telling different things to everyone. 
It’s odd trying another chat as the next chat person can read all previous chat so would see what’s been said. 
Are we all being messed with as it’s causing a sensation … wonder if all the talk is helping create more excitement and hysteria as if many get them on Friday then it’s happy people ….

Yeah I’m getting different things from different people. The person before that told me that i would be receiving my device within a few days of release date, but 2 people have told me that it won’t be for another 4 weeks. I’m just gonna hope in a week they have a better idea of what’s going on

It would be a huge blip if they had no pro max’s as it would cause chaos and pre order would be pointless. 
I spoke to Apple and they haven’t heard of any stock problems to EE for initial pre orders for the pro max. But who knows how much anyone knows apart from the high up in charge of this chaos!

All the people I’ve spoken to have said release day but maybe I’ve spoken to the optimistic ones at EE 😂

So just off the phone to EE to get an update on my order and have been told like many others that my device has been picked out the warehouse. My name and address is on the phone and I should expect it Friday. 

However, he sounded suprised and told me that he has been telling his customers a waiting time of 4 weeks. I asked if they implement a first come first serve system as I ordered mine as soon as it went live and he said that seems to be the case which explains why unlike the majority of his customers so far mine is ready to go.

I'm not sure how legitimate this all is, I guess only time will tell. Reading between the lines from customer support, if your ordered as soon as humanly possible last Friday there's a good chance you get it this Friday for release. If you ordered later on in the day last Friday due to site issues or long waiting times on call you may get it Friday upto 14 days later. If you ordered any day after pre order release day you could be looking at upto 4 weeks, obviously the longer you took to order from 1pm last Friday the longer you wait.

This is just the 15 Pro max 256gb titanium btw. Which seems to be by far the most popular choice. Can't say for any of the others.

Unfortunately not 28 days as I kept being cut off on Friday and couldn’t get one the app/website, I ordered it on Saturday morning

 my tracking now works using my 0330 number and says dispatch expected in 24 hours…
