Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I’ve been exactly the same as there is so much confusion going on. The guy told me that I should have been able to track it on the EE website but he can’t explain why I can’t but the order is definitely there and processed. He told me mines is looking at the 22nd so hopefully yours is as well 😁

If it’s true that no pro max orders will be delivered on release day despite pre-ordering then this pushes those of us on anytime upgrades back on our upgrade date which I will not be happy about as it means if I want to upgrade on launch next year I’d have to pay the £300 fee due to EE and their massive failure to order the phones (if it is correct what someone said on here about EE not ordering the phones in time).

EE will definitely need to address this and sort something out for affected customers, the fact that CS are so not kept up to date and actually know what’s going on is worrying. The systems are still experiencing issues and it’s been almost a whole week
as someone who used to work for the company, I’ve never seen such a mess

Plus they said yesterday they had no system and offered me a call back that never came back

You’ll struggle to prove any misselling when you never even gave them a chance to deliver on launch day. Any compensation would only come after they missed the launch as it did two years ago with many customers having to wait several weeks more.
Until the orders start being processed and picked which will be tomorrow at the earliest anything said by EE reps, who will be receiving hundreds of calls and will just want to get people asking for updates off the phone, or posted on here is just speculation
The best thing anyone who has an 003 order number can do is just sit tight and wait and see what happens later in the week

Agreed, just spoke to EE to confirm my order was ok after reading this thread and even though my Pro Max order went through correctly at 2:30pm with the 003 coming through then also (considering delays this seems quite an early order) according to advisor I should expect my phone on the 29th.
Having said this when I first spoke to the advisor initial response was all new iphones are 28 days but this changed once my order had been reviewed so who knows when they will arrive lol

I was told on Friday at 1.30 it’s gone to 14 days for delivery so who knows what is going on I’ve ordered from we for a few years and never had a problem let’s hope I don’t this year I wouldn’t bother ring ee they say different things wait till Thursday and I always hear of dpd first I also ordered with sky so hope 1 comes
