Pre-order from Apple!
I see year after year that "I ordered X phone and X GB, X colour, but EE (other networks probably the same) have not sent me a confirmation email"
Save yourself the hassle and order it from Apple directly, then you know exactly when you're getting it. They offer financing too at 0%, then grab a SIM only deal with Uswitch or something for an EE sim
I'm sure come Friday, there will be an Official thread, with comments saying they pre-ordered and something went wrong, no confirmation email or text or something, I guarantee it. The system is unfortunately just not capable of keeping up, even the forum is slow at times

Nope, they were never available.
I ordered natural titanium, I managed to get onto the app at 1254 and the website at 1257 with the order put through at 1258.
As soon as the app and website were available it was showing as 14 days as the fastest for all colours and models of pro max.
As usual I had to call them because for whatever reason the anytime upgrade always needs me to call in and then someone does it all over the phone everything I've just done online.

That's so annoying because I fly out to America on the 4th October and don't get back until the 14th. I was really hoping to have my upgrade before then, but as I say I wasn't willing to downsize to the pro just for the sake of not having to wait as I'd just regret it for the rest of the year.

I also ordered online and received confirmation at 12:59pm (natural titanium, 256gb, Pro Max), but the email said to call EE to confirm details. While on the phone for 30 min (1pm to 1:30pm), EE said they can’t process the order and they’ll call me back when their systems are back up and running. Shipping times on Apples website have slipped to mid-October for this model and still no call back from EE yet. I’ve called them back twice, but stuck on hold each time to no end.

The preorder page went live for me at 12:55pm and I got the same as you, said 14 working days from the outset, but the phone agent told me the stock level showed as 999+ so he said I would get it launch day, and this was at 1:45pm.

You guys will have been one of the first to order, and provided they did process correctly and don't mess up, you will be fine.

Currently on the phone to an agent now, I've been placed on hold because his system has crashed 🙄
He honestly seems clueless in regards to everything about the 14 day dispatch but has assured me saying it's very likely I'll get the phone before I fly out on the 4th October.

I'm not bothered. I usually preorder every year, however this year i thought about getting a fold 5 or s23 ultra and maybe this is lifes little way of showing me not to get the iphone lol

I hope so as the order technically doesnt get processed until you've confirmed your web order over the phone. It's now 2:34 and im still waiting for this bloke to sort his system out
