I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I am actually FUMING.

i placed an order online on the 12th. I rang up every day for 10 days to make sure it went though. Received multiple confirmations and emails it has with false promises it’s due for delivery. I then found out on Thursday it was cancelled and put through again on the 13th with different references by EE. Again I received confirmation texts etc and reassurances plus apologies for being lied to by multiple advisors for 10 days.

I find out today my second order has now been cancelled due to “incomplete information”. I’m actually disgusted at EE service, they are quick to take my upfront payment and offer nothing in return

I have filed 4 complaints and heard nothing. I will be taking this further and taking my business away from EE.

very rich for a company that says they give the best customer service in the UK

Second time in this thread that this has happened. It’s absolutely ridiculous

your not filling me confidence hmmm

i think the problems arise when CS get involved and you get subpar support if you don't need to contact CS

then ee is a great service  if you do then anything can happen.

i wish EE would have some kind of counter on the order page and you could see your order slowly getting closer to being delivered.

I suspect the reason alot of companies don't  do that is that its not wholly based on who ordered first i believe other factors are added when stock becomes available.

i will never order online again as its useless and still needs a physical person to put it through in 2022 i cant get over that

i cancelled my order and put a complaint in as i lost my 30% f&f but managed to get that back if i order again but looking at timescales now its over 28 days

so ordered a sim free 14 pm for delivery next week and will use the 30% for a sim only plan in nov around Bf as the deals now are shocking

they rang me about my complaint she wouldnt have it that it wasnt first come first served and its evidently all apples fault ee are blameless lol

but definitely puts me off ee in the future not that the competition is any better really but not impressed at all

I’ve dialled 150 twice this morning and both times I hung up after going through the options thinking what is the actual point, chocolate and teapot spring to mind.

It’s not even the wait at this point it’s the zero communication. “When it’s ready our courier DPD will text you” okay, but why aren’t you?

So called 150 today, I have had to cancel my iPhone 14 pro max in deep purple, they are saying it is 5 weeks now and apparently my order was “stuck”? Whatever that bloody means, so I’ve now ordered the iPhone 14 pro max in gold, delivery expected within 14 days, I’ve got my £30 upfront returned to me and I’ve also had compensation of two months phone bill paid when my device arrives!

Yes, I suspect you are correct. I ordered mine in the pre-orders on 9th September at 12.06am. I must have been one of the first to order. So far, I have had an order number in the email confirmation you get. Then, when I saw people say they had their delivered, I phoned 150 on the 16th September to find out where it is. I was told it could take 28 days. I asked 28 days from what? Order, 16th, 1st, when? I just got told 28 days.

If I find one elsewhere that I can purchase SIM free, I will. If that's the case, I will wait until EE delivers their device and then send it back. EE hasn't covered itself in glory this time. Now the tax situation has changed and I can claim 150% of the purchase price back, I might take all 28 decides I have for the company on the account. EE will lost a customer that spends £4,000 on average a month.

And all because of poor communication.

I was tempted but as we were meeting the father in law for his birthday I’m not sure my wife would have forgiven me!
