I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Agree, I ordered the Pro Max (512GB purple) at 12.04 am on 10/09. I called 150 twice and have been told they are dispatched on a “first come, first served” basis and you have to wait up to 28 days. Yet people on here (one on the ordered 22nd and delivered on 23rd, same spec as mine) who ordered a few weeks after me have received their devices already. 

I am a company buyer and we spend a small fortune every month on our bills, I am an inch away from swapping every contract away as they expire, starting with this. It's the abysmal customer service, including changing Customer Service from being able to call 150 to have to come onto here. You cannot nail down a straight answer.

The saga continues for me. Received my phone and despite running through the upgrade on the phone and invited to a screen sharing session in which my discount and price was confirmed in a contract I was told by 150 that I wasn’t entitled to that. They now need to listen to the call to confirm… another 72 hours of waiting.

Also for anyone wondering DPD did not ask for ID 🙈

I ordered the exact same model as you on the same day as you around 11am and to know that others who ordered after and have received them makes me very annoyed.

Apple is saying expect delivery 31st Oct - 7 Nov on the PM 512GB Deep Purple. I wish I never looked…

Hey I ordered 14PM 128 Purple on 15th 1300.
I’ve just received an update on EE website that my order is coming soon. First update was on 22nd that order is on track. 
I don’t know what todays update mean? Anyone else had it?

I dont think ordering on the 21st and expecting delivery is fair on EE - clearly there is a backlong and unfortunately, you are some way behind in the queue - others who ordered on the 9th-12th are still waiting so yes you might be in for a wait.

Not EEs fault here.
