I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.
Might be worth checking in with customer service, ordered on the 9th but had to reorder for the 13th, apparently it’s waiting to be collected from the carrier when I when on chat to find out some updates
Yep. DPD app showing delivery tomorrow. Paid for VIP.
But now I need to ensure EE sort my discounts/refunds I was promised. Otherwise this plan is about £90/month 😂 So I’ll be chasing tomorrow to ensure this is getting sorted.
I preordered PM 256gb in purple on 12/09. Only got the confirmation email with the xko number and haven’t heard anything since. Didn’t get any other email. Yesterday got a notification from DPD app at 8:30pm to say my order will arrive tomorrow. Received my order this morning and still have no email or text from EE to show it’s been delivered. The online tracking still says that they can’t show my order details. So my advice is to stop tracking and stop waiting for emails because they won’t update it or let you know.
But I’ve still got to wait for them to go and listen to the recorded call to validate what I was promised and get the refunded for £350. As well as apply the discounts I was promised. I’m certain this won’t be a breeze and will cause me a headache. If they don’t sort it (even those promise and evidence from phone call), my 1TB model will be getting by sent back.
