I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Oh I entirely agree. Orders on all channels should be treated equal and it’s daft that a company such as EE can’t have a real time online ordering system
I did recommend on some threads that people call up but obviously not everyone will have seen those threads

I ordered 14PM today, I changed colour.
ordered over the phone, I got the trade in email, but haven’t got a order confirmation email or text. Spoke to 150 and they have given me a 02 number but it says “Sorry, you can't track this order type just yet.”
Just worried as they can’t tell me why I haven’t got either a text or email to confirm the order, do you get email when it’s processed or would I get one soon as I ordered over the phone?
any help would be appreciated

I ordered on the 11. I only got my tracking number 2 days later, since that time no update at all. Avaiting for confirmation.

Hmmm.. I ordered my iPhone 10/09 and was guaranteed 16/09 delivery (Launch day). However, I called and asked the CSA, if they were sure about the phone being delivered on launch day as their EE website was stating for some models including the 14 pro Max 256gb either within 7,21 or 28 days delivery. I’d imagine they’re live system via 150 would be more accurate than online. 16/09 is here and no iPhone, downloaded the DPD app, nothing, called EE for the 002 tracking number, nothing there. Now when I look on the EE website, it doesn’t even give a specific time frame, it now says “When stock is available”. I can’t imagine how many calls or complaints they’ve received today. However, they should be honest with customers rather than guaranteeing delivery on 16/09.

I made a pre order for iPhone 14 pro max on the 10th September. My upgrade was due 3 months down the line so I opened a new line to place the order. I planned a trip aboard on Sunday 18th September. I was promised delivery on 16th. When I tried calling, they had no satisfying answers. I've been told it can take 28 days till delivery. I'll be gone for a month aboard and wanted to take the device. I confirmed 10 times with the agent that I will indeed receive it on 16th.
If I receive it tomorrow, then all is well otherwise I'll cancel the order.
If you don't have enough stock, then don't take orders.

If you got the free case with the iPhone do not put it on your phone unless you never wanna take it off again. It literally isn’t coming off my phone.

Wouldn't count your chickens for receiving a call from management, I was due to get a call yesterday and am still waiting 🤣
Waiting for an explanation as to why someone from EE cancelled my order and made a new one pushing me to the back of the queue.
