I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Phoned up and ordered a 14 Pro Max 256GB in gold this morning, they said delivery should be within 7 days. Hope it's not going to take as long as it seems everybody on here has experienced.

If you order now, you likely will miss a Christmas delivery. Apple's website currently says 29th Dec.

I think the news about the factory in China has caused a panic, it was early December last week.

It's either idiotic or a stroke of genius. 2022's Tickle Me Elmo is the 14 Pro Max.

I ordered my iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Space Black last Tuesday and it was said to take around 14 days to deliver. Now on EE's website is saying if anyone ordered now it will take around 28 days now. Hope my phone arrives before the 30th of November like they said. 

I think it'll be fine and you'll get it within the timeframe at the time of ordering. My phone arrived this morning and was ordered on Wednesday when the estimate online was 7 days, but then jumped to "over 28 days" an hour later.

Apparently I'm now 'at the top of the list' so hoping I should hear something soon.

I ordered a 256gb Purple Pro Max on 27th October and am just getting weekly status update to let me know that the order is still on track. When I ordered, it was a ‘within 21 days’ expectation. How do you know where you are in the queue? Should I be calling EE or is that a waste of time? Thanks 

I ordered the exact same phone as you (256 purple pro max) the day before on the 26 October. I think calling customer services is a waste of time… all they will do is say they have your order, they won’t or probably can’t give your place in the queue. I’ve decided to give it another week and then if nothing will probably cancel my order and just make do with my existing phone until supply is more certain.

Has anyone had any update about delivery for the 128gb purple. I ordered mine 29-10 and it’s nearly been 28 days but had no update

I order the 128gb pro in black and got told the wait time is currently ‘more than 28 days’ by EE, which appears to be the most information they’re able to give… it’s been 38 days for me now, so I’m just hoping it arrives by Christmas!

i ordered the pro max 128gb purple on 12/10 and it is being delivered today
