iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Preorder tracking thread

I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

I completely agree that there should be better communication from EE, however what information can they give you as they don’t know themselves. 

I do feel sorry for the CS agents. Some are clearly giving false hope and information but again they have no more information to tell you except your order is placed and you have to wait. For the first phase of deliveries they are already in the uk and sent from the logistical distributor which is based in Hinckley. After this the iPhones are sent from China to the distributor as and when they are produced. Like I say apple are masters in the supply chain but they can’t keep up with demand when a new product is released. They can only make so many for the whole world at a time.  This is why if you want the phone delivered quickly you need to place your order very quickly on preorder day. Even direct from apple dates slip within minutes after ordering goes live. It just shows you how many are ordering and how popular they are. And also placing a preorder doesn’t guarantee a delivery on launch day. If you want delivery on launch day you need to be quick and the best way is ordering directly from apple as soon as the Apple Store comes back online on preorder day. This is my third iPhone ordered from EE which I have had delivered on launch day as I have been fortunate enough to be able to order as soon as preorders open. 

At the end of the day it’s a popular brand launched in many countries and unfortunately they can’t send everyone their phone who orders straight away.

I was wondering if someone can help me. 
I upgraded my phone 8 days ago to the iPhone 14 pro max deep purple 256gb, the time frame I was given dispatched within 21 days, by the advisor and it’s even on the website. Well apparently it’s wrong and I’m looking at 28+ days. 
just wanted to ask if anyone has ordered the Same model and spec if they received this within the 21 day time frame. I am aware each order does make the back order longer, but a bit frustrating when I was told 21 days, and it states 21 days on the website to now be told 28 +🙄

I've just been told by a CS agent that my preorder is due for despatch in over 28 days! I ordered a purple 512gb Pro max on 15th September. Anyone else had similar info? I was told between 14-28 days when I first ordered.

I ordered on 20/09, 14PM 256 Deep Purple, CS told me I’d have it in my hands on 23/09…

Needless to say, have been tracking availability on Apple’s website, as too many moving stories coming from EE to keep up with 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve ordered the same handset, but on the 10th and I’ve not heard a thing. After reading all the comments on here I don’t see the point of contacting CS as it won’t speed up getting my handset. I’ve waited 3 weeks, hopefully I’ll see it some time soon

Yeah I've resigned myself to just wait, not CS fault and they're only
trying to do they're jobs so I haven't seen the point in getting annoyed
with them tbf!

I phoned CS once just to hear what the delay was, and she told me that they had no stock, but I would be one of the first to get their phone once they got new stock in since I pre-ordered on the 12th.

She was so happy when I told her that it is not her fault, that I just phoned to inquire about the delay and now that I know, all is good.

They must get a lot of angry calls, and it is not their fault. 

They are just doing their jobs to pay their bills, just as we do.

Update: My phone came today (Saturday 01/10) instead of Monday❤️ DPD delivers Saturdays so if you’re told Monday, it will quite likely come earlier! Good luck on everyone waiting

Mine will be delivered Monday, any time after 11am.

I do hope everyone else will get theirs soon too.

I ordered on sept 15th, purple 14pm 512. Yesterday they said more than 28 days however I'm sure they just fobbed me off with that because I checked the EE phone order page and it said the same thing. He obviously didn't know and checked the website like I did.
