I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.
It is odd. I ordered on the 18th and got it on the 24th. This was after I'd been told my order had actually gone through on the 10th 4 times so maybe they pushed it through quickly? I've got no idea.
