I spoke to someone in an EE store over the weekend about late trade-in return charges and she said to phone up and ensure they put a note on your account explaining about the delayed new device. I did this earlier today, but the CS person still made a point of saying "If you do get charged, just phone up and reference this note in your account"..... which didn't fill me with loads of confidence.
I'd imagine this would be fine however, as a lot of people must be in the same boat. She checked on delivery and it's as you've all said really, no idea, could be this week, could be next, could be longer. I'm enjoying this thread though, looking forward to the next "I've got a text" comment ha! 🙂
