IPhone 14 Pro Max (black 128GB) ordered 13 September by phone. £217 “early upgrade fee” paid and left my bank account while still on call. I was told during call that “there are no delays now” and should anticipate delivery “on Friday or Saturday - Monday at the latest.”
Only contact from EE since was a text message the same day with an 02 reference. Site shows no “anticipated delivery date”. Rang today and told there is a delay “up to 28 days” from now despite already being 7 days through my 14 days “cooling off period.”
No ex gratia refund of any part of my £217 is possible, apparently, although “you can always request one when the phone arrives.”
Despite having been with EE for at least 5 years, “all I can do is apologise that you were misinformed.”
Not impressed at all.
