I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Called 150 through the usual upgrades team, I ordered the 14 Pro Max 256GB Deep Purple. He assured me that my phone has been picked and will be sent to DPD later today at some point. I didn’t receive any order numbers or tracking information, for those who are in the same boat. He also told me I’m still expecting delivery this Friday as I was told when I ordered on pre-order launch day, around 1:30pm

Just got off the phone to them again and I'm not gonna stress over it anymore. I've had 3 agents tell me I'm defo getting the phone on Friday, no delays so my advice to anyone is don't listen to the chat too much like I did. It's looking bleak if you order a one like today for delivery on Friday, I ordered mine on Monday and the agent said I'm in the clear.

I’m not sure why I need to explain this, but like pretty much everyone here, the website said when ordering that the phone can be expected on launch day, so I think they should be held to that.
Also we are all clearly iPhone fans here that are paying a lot of money to get the device ASAP, and are excited!

Word on the street is if you dont call 150 multiple times and spam agents your phone might turn up on Friday.

With all due respect, we wouldn’t be like this if we wasn’t told different things on the phone and in chat 😂 yes I’ve phoned them twice today but I’ll leave it now.

The amount of times some people contact EE might be excessive but EE do themselves no favours with the order tracker that tells you nothing if it even works. Plus last year’s almighty **bleep** up is still fresh in some people’s minds

The agents running the chat are a different bread. Apparently they can't say if an orders been picked up now😂
Its just a case of "pick a random reply out of a hat" game now.

Could be a lot worse! Remember last year? They had that dedicated delivery queries thread, I'm pretty sure I saw your name on that thread.

The chat agents don't know a lot when it comes to pre orders. They're instructed to give a copy paste response, so if you want real answers, you're better off calling them.
