I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

Is anyone getting 002 numbers without phoning up? I still only have an XKO. 

When I upgraded, I picked a tarrif that had a £50 upfront cost for the phone and paid by apple pay. That was taken ok.

Thanks for your message. I appreciate what you saying but i had in past where my order got stuck and it got delayed 15 days more then it supposed to. I don't really want to be in same situation it was very stressful. Now I'm thinking as i cant track my order or no information even on my ee account about my order so I really don't know if my order is actually gone through.

Agreed lol. It would just be nice to know. 

I must admit its the 1st time I've never had a confirmation email but I do have a text confirming my order number and can click the link and see my order online.

Someone in another thread mentioned a '001....' order number and it made me wonder if those are the lucky ones who will receive them sooner ? My order number begins '002...' ?

I ordered at 13:16 and have just been informed that my order won't be coming on launch day... I'm still hoping it might just make the cut but expected delivery was 19th/20th September

Same here. I paid £30 for the new tariff. And paid with Apple pay. I had 1 call to 150 ca, and had 3 chats. One of them gave me for number, but another one said that this number was only for them. I am not allowed to track anything with that number starting with 025*****. Need to wait till tomorrow or Thursday morning. DPD should start to send and or app notifications 🤷‍♂️

It’s frustrating! I don’t Even have a 002 number yet, I still only have XKO - but looking back at previous upgrades i’ve always only received XKO numbers
