Two apple watch data plans with same mobile device plan.

Can I have two apple watches, each with their own mobile plans and with the same iPhone mobile plan? If so, do the watches seamlessly link when either is in use with the phone so that they accept and make calls from my mobile number?

@maclink68  the Apple Watch is linked at account level so when your phone rings the watch rings also it doesn’t need to be connected to the phone.   I don’t think it’s possible to have two watches on contract linked to the same line as your phone.  You can transfer the plan back and forth between the watches though.  Obviously you need to allow time for this to happen if you are ever in a rush as you would need to set the watch up from scratch each time in order to mitigate the plan from one watch to the other.

I can confirm that it IS possible.  I tried it and it works in that I took out another plan for the other watch.  The way that it now works is that the watch I put on and unlock is automatically paired with my iphone and incoming calls to my phone will be picked up by the apple watch, even after switching off my phone and disabling WiFi, to simulate being away from my phone and out for a walk.  I take off the watch, put on the other and pair.... it all works.
