Terrible upgrade service

I ordered an iphone 12 as upgrade to my phone. I chose this phone as it had a next day delivery. I received an email telling me to wait for an email with a tracking number, that I never received. 

As there was no sign of the delivery I called the customer service, they said DPD made a delivery attempt and left a note, but they never rang my bell nor did they leave a note.

I wanted a next day delivery because I needed the new phone before leaving the country, now I need to wait for another week before it will be delivered. 

That's a terrible service and I regret upgrading with EE. I should have picked another service. I'm sure there's not this kind of issue with Vodaphone. I will leave as soon as I possibly can, and I encourage everybody to do the same.

Terrible service.

Did you speak to our Customer Care team about this?

 

Were they able to find out what happened?

Yes I did. They said it happens and there's nothing to do. 

I got the tracking number from them though, so at least there's that.

Had I known I'd have waited for the iPhone 14, I just wanted a 5G device for my trip, but since that ship sailed...
