Temporarily tranfer number to an old phone?

Hi,

Can I temporarily transfer a number to an old phone while a phone goes into repair? If so, how do I do it? Both are Apple iPhones

Thanks for reaching out here on the community. 

The easiest way to do this would be to pop your sim card into your old phone, if you are currently using a eSim you can get a physical sim card by popping into an EE store, make sure you take some I.D in with you to request the Sim card.
