Hi,
I have searched all the forums and contacted customer support regarding this issue. I cannot believe that there were topics discussing the exact same problem 2-3 years ago, and it seems that no one had a clear solution to the problem of setting up a cellular connection on the Apple Watch Series 6.
The error message that is displayed states: "Our system checks show that you aren't currently eligible to buy an additional line for this device. There are a few reasons this happens. Call us on 150 and quote code 007, and we will look into it for you."
I am having trouble understanding, why EE restricts an already established customer with a 24-month SIM-only contract from adding a mere £7 extra for a cellular connection on their Apple Watch?? It feels unnecessary to go through such difficulties for something as simple as this. I am quite disappointed with EE after experiencing this issue.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi @Mikeukldn
It is becase even a watch contract needs a credit check you need to pass.
As the message says you need to call EE and discuss your options.
Thanks
