Norton 360 draining my iPhone battery !

can anyone help?
my iPhone battery is draining and it looks like Norton 360 is using 50% in the background - why is this please and is there something I can do to resolve ?
I don’t even have an account with Norton as far as can see …..

@Pdilson if you don’t have an account with Norton, why is the app installed on your phone just uninstalled it.

What I mean is I can’t open the application to see why it is running so much . I assumed it was on an Apple Device as a security screen ?

@Pdilson You’ve downloaded this from the App Store. It runs all the time in the background if you don’t disable that.

Most of these security apps aren't really needed and companies on commission flog them and try and scare you into installing and paying for them as it's easy money. The biggest security risk is yourself. They will all use your battery, if it's causing issues, as @Chris_B says, just uninstall it.
