No wifi calling

Hi, I have had no wifi calling for two days now which is a nuisance as I don’t have mobile phone coverage at home. I have tried to switch the wifi calling off then back on several times with no joy. I have reset my internet and again no joy. My internet is working perfectly so poor wifi signal is not the answer either. I’m just wondering if anyone else is having an issue or knows how I can resolve this. Many thanks in advance.

The issue has been resolved, not sure how but wifi calling is back this morning. Thank you to those who replied on my post.

  1. What device do you have and was this provided by EE.
  2. Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
  3. Who provides your internet connection.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Hi, we have 3 apple phones. SE 2020, IPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 and our internet provider is Starlink.

Thank you for this link. Yes, I agree this sounds very similar to the issue we are having. The question is how to resolve it. I’ll give EE a call tomorrow when in signal range but I’m not sure how this will work given I won’t be able to check  the WiFi calling whilst away from home. Thanks again.

That other issue was mine. I called 150 and asked about it — the technical support person put me on hold and came back 10 mins later to say he had fixed it in the back end by enabling WiFi calling that had been disabled. It still doesn’t work 24 hours later, so I’m frustrated to say the least. Wonder how yours resolved…and hoping mine does likewise.

We lost WiFi calling again this morning.  Lost it earlier in the week but overnight got texts from EE saying it was fixed.  But it has happened again.   This time also my wife’s phone, and she’s on Vodafone not EE.   We have Starlink so I am beginning to think it’s Starlink.  We live in area of no mobile reception so impossible to call EE!   Thank the Lord for WhatsApp.   But EE not on that.

Out of interest, who is your broadband provider, and do you know if other phones on the same network are also affected?

Hi, sorry to hear you are still having issue. I’m not sure what happened but after two days of no wifi calling we woke to having it again. I never spoke with EE. All devices were having issues 3 iPhones, 1 Samsung and 2 iPads. It’s strange to say l the least but it’s still working thankfully.
