Hi all

I’ve had an iPhone 15 for just over 12 months and all of a sudden it is not connecting to the data network Wi-Fi is ok and calls seem alright but it it will not connect to the network if the Wi-Fi is off or I’m away from home which is a pain as I’m not able to use maps on car play. I’ve checked the settings and Data roaming is turned on and I’ve even tried to resetting the phone but nothing works, any ideas?

Update as promised: after calling the technical team, they conducted a network refresh on their end, and data is back working, albeit at very slow speeds.

Hello @Mike418 ,

Welcome to the community,

Have you tried doing a manual search for a network to see if that makes a difference and have you tried turning your phone off and then back on again to see if that works?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
Thanks for the tip, I have tried that after getting your suggestion still
no joy unfortunately 😥

@Mike418  The data roaming toggle is so you can use data when abroad and that’s all and  if your within the UK it makes no difference if it’s on or off.

Have you tried a network reset on the device?   Have you doubled checked that mobile data is enabled?  You can switch mobile data on or off via the control centre,  this needs to be green

Hey @Mike418.

Welcome to the EE Community!

I would definitely recommend doing a network settings reset like @Chris_B has mentioned here.

This won't affect any of your stored data like photos and contacts, but you will need to manually reconnect to any saved WiFi / Bluetooth devices when you next use them.

You can find this by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Enter your PIN.

At this point the phone will restart automatically too, and fingers crossed your data should return from there.

Having the same issues here, 15 Pro, and happened at approximately the same time- 1pm today. Restarts and Resetting network settings has not worked at all. So frustrating.

I'm disappointed to hear that hasn't worked for you @amolsagdeo.

When you're looking the signal bars at the top of your screen, can you see a 4G / 5G indicator next to this, or has this disappeared.

If a network settings reset hasn't sorted this, I'd recommend getting in touch with our technical team, and they can take a look into what we can do from our end.
