Family sim

I have a family sim and one of my group now has a phone that can use 5g. how do I get it activated and will it cost me?

You need to have a 5G phone on a 5G plan in a 5G area.

@zoro1  That contract for that sim would have to be upgraded so it can have 5G you can not just switch on 5G for a tariff you already have.  It’s a whole new contract.  Is that contract within its upgrade period?
