EE Cyber Security iPhone Battery Drain

Battery usage is really high, mainly in the background. Anyone else seeing this?

Approx 33% in last 24 hours.

Did this ever get fixed as I have the same problem 33% usage per day battery needs charged a couple of times a day now

Hi. Yes I’m getting the same. I’ve even tried to force close it but it’s still using the same 33% 

Yep just replied to you earlier 

But can we stop it running in the background

Yes I have Leanne. Just spoken to technical support and basically until they sort it out they said it will use a lot of battery so uninstall they app so I have and cancelled the trial

Yes; same issue. Had EE Cyber security on my phone for over 2 years and the last two days Is started to drain the battery. It’s used 50% of my battery today.

Ive also got background app refresh off. (All apps) 
Any time you use an app that requires a data connection cyber security will run in the background as you’re using data so the app kicks in in the background.  No point on having it running in the background if you’re not using any data apps.
