Cannot verify if phone unlocked

Trying to see if my IPhone is unlocked, but EE to checker tool with IMEI number doesn’t work and when doing via text, get the same error and redirected to same checker tool.

Try this, on your phone go to Settings/General/About and scroll down to “Network Provider Lock”. If it says “No SIM restrictions”, then it’s unlocked.
