Please try that again

@durstonc Have you just just putting a different network sim in the device?
since December 17th 2021 all phones sold are already network unlocked.

Hi @durstonc
To check if your Apple phone is unlocked, text UNLOCK to 150
See more at How do I unlock an EE device to use with another network?

Yes I’ve already tried 150 UNLOCK it was takes me to the IMEI page, I insert my IMEI and then it gives me the error message. Any idea how I can talk to a real person for help?

Hi, I think my iPhone is older than 2021, it’s my daughter’s hand me down and she had it through EE, I was already with EE so it wasn’t a problem. I wish to purchase an eSim through Nomad as I’m going to China tomorrow and I’ve now hit a brick wall and can’t unlock my phone, Nomad won’t allow me to purchase an eSim whilst it’s locked.

@durstonc
On your iPhone can you go to Settings > General > About and check if you have an EID section? This confirms your version of iPhone 11 is eSIM compatible.
Below that you'll also see "Network Provider Lock" to see your unlock status.
