Purchased a new line. iPhone 13 pro max 1tb
Received the phone today and the seal was broken. Went to activate the phone and no signal. Checked with EE and been told the phone is blacklisted. How in the hell can EE send a new phone that's blacklisted. This was a gift for my son over the weekend but can't even get this sorted till Monday as "The department is closed". Then get told I paid too much for the new line as I could have got a discount on the postage and upfront cost. Not a happy customer ATM

Hi @issihra28 ,
Sounds like a clear case of the product the retailer has supplied not being as described.
Please try to report the situation to EE as soon as possible and ideally in less than 12 days to avoid being fobbed off.

@mikeliuk I reported it as soon as I realised. Unfortunately I get the "Department is closed till Monday" so a whole weekend trying to explain to my son why he hasn't got a phone and then probably another 3 days till anything is done about it.

Morning @issihra28
I'm very sorry to hear this has happened.
Where did you order the iPhone?
Did the team advise why this was blacklisted?
Thanks.
Leanne.

I ordered the phone direct from EE. I wasn't given a reason why it was blacklisted
