Apple Watch eSim QR code

EE have sent me a QR code for my new watch eSim contract.

How do I get that eSim onto my watch?

Within the watch app it's only possible to add and pay for a new £7 contract.
And if I scan the QR code, my phone wants to add the eSim to my phone.

This is now solved thanks to EE technical support. they had to manually match the EID to the e-SIM. There was an incorrect EID showing on the EE system.

@samfieldhouse  You can not scan a QR code for the watch.    Is this a new watch that is replacing an old watch that’s on contract ? If it is you just backup the watch and disconnect it from your phone and your given the option to keep the tariff you then set up the new watch and you get the option to add the current watch contract to the new watch.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Morning!
Same old watch. New contract.
I was paying £7/month.
EE (over the phone) ended that contact and changed it to the free one.
I’ve had the texts to say that the free discount bas been applied to my account.
I can see the free watch PAYM on my account and bill.
EE have sent me a QR code in the post.
So how do I activate the new contract on my watch?

Try going into your Watch App and readding the data plan through there to see if it picks up the one they've changed it to.

Other than that might have to ring and see if technical can add it manually onto your watch using the details.

You should be able to open the Watch App, select Mobile Services, and there should be an option to add a plan. It will then contact EE and obtain its data plan. 😊

Thanks for the tips 😊
Sadly the only 'add a plan' option is a paid one - and I already have a free one. I'll try resetting it.

Think you would have to contact EE Technical Help and they can manually link it to your watch EID.

I would contact EE and just confirm the watch plan is active on your account.
