Hello
I upgraded to Samsung 24 in an EE shop this summer. It was working fine but in the last month it started displaying: "Warning: Don't use charging/USB port! We've detected moisture or foreign material in your charging/USB port."
I have tried many recommended approaches: put it in front of fan for the nigth, use alcohol wipes, a can of compressed air from the computer shop. Nothing is working and I am resorting to using wireless charges now which are much slower.
Can I just take it back to an EE shop for it to be looked at? I belive I have been paying insurance.
If so, can it be any EE shop or must it be the one I bought it (upgraded to it) originally?

Good morning @jasonquinnEE.
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
I just want to be absolutely sure, but have you tried every step Samsung recommend in this help article, including clearing the USB cache and updating the software?
If things still aren't working from there, you can send it in for repair at any branch, but only certain ones have a repair centre on-site so it may need to be sent away for investigation.
You can check out your nearest branches and the services available here:

If this was deemed to be water damage that's breached the device's water resistance, then it would most likely be chargeable to repair, and insurance would be the best route to go down in this case.
