Hi.
I am hoping someone can help guide me on the following. I purchased a Huawei B525s-23a 4G router in Feb 2020. It was direct from EE online. I phoned EE on 14 December to ask for an unlock code but never heard anything back. I phoned again on 22 January and was told I would receive a code within 3-5 days but I am yet to hear anything.

Bought on ebay, and checked imei was clear.

It will cost £8.99 to unlock the device and you’ll need to call us on 0800 956 6000 to request this 🙂

Hi Leanne I’m having the same problem but I’ve got a passcode I just don’t know how to use it. Hope you can give me some more details on how to unlock a router.

@Bsnazel : Stick another network's SIM in it & it should ask you for the unlock code.

Where will it ask me? All I’ve got is the router and my iPhone, and I’m trying to use my sky sim to test whether its unlocked before buying another sim but I don’t know where to enter this code.

@Bsnazel : Through its GUI. Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover.
