i've just had an upgrade to a Galaxy A12. The shop has put a new sim and copied all the numbers and apps across. How do I get my new phone working?

Hello @PCD 

 

If you are genuinely upgrading and haven't taken out a new connection, then putting your existing (working?) SIM in your new phone is the easiest & quickest way.

 

It's the SIM which holds your number and related account - if your existing SIM works and fits your new phone, then just move it to your new phone.

Thanks for replying. They gave me a new sim and I already registered it by going on to ee.co.uk/newsim. My old phone seems to still work but my new phone says..not registered on network.

You can only have one SIM active on your number at a time, so if your old SIM is still working, can you put it into your new phone and see if it works?

Thanks again. I will try. Take the old sim card  from the Sony and the new sim card out of the Galaxy and put the sony card into the galaxy.
