Unlock code to use anotyer SIM in an old device

Sami82

So I've looked at previous chats and it seems to be a common issue.

I used my IMEI to get my unlock code, great.

Received an email that jist shows me how to get the IMEI unlock code, which I have.

I'm trying to unlock my device to use another network SIM card.

I've searched and searched and can't find the steps to input my unlock code. When I put my new SIM card in its asking me for a PUK code, but that's not what I  wasn't to do this phone isn't  contract phone.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as ive been trying to do this for bout 3 hours now!

@Sami82  you type the unlock code into the phone dial keypad.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I have but its not accepting it

I keep getting in the same loop...

It looks like it is the SIM which has been pin blocked and not a network lock on the phone. You need the PUK for that SIM which you can get from the network whose SIM you are using.

Ok I'll ask them again as they said it was you guy's 🤦🏼‍♀️

If it is a new SIM it may be on the packaging.

Can you confirm the device is unlocked to all networks? I've been waiting over 2 hoita to chat with an agent at EE, still in a  queue...
