Text messages not sending

I can receive text messages but ones I send dont get received by anyone. I have changed my message Centre number to  but no change. I have a monthly co tract with unlimited texts.

Do text messages show as "sent" from your phone or not?

If you send a text to yourself, is it received?

If you text BALANCE to 150, do you get a response?
