Smart watch sim

Hey I recently got my new Samsung watch. I was also sent a sim ages ago.. do I have to put the sim into the watch if so where?.

I can't seem to find that option with needing a QR code

Hi @Sihall87

 

Can you try the below and see if this activates the data plan for you? 

 

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your Samsung phone

 

  • Select Mobile network

 

  • Select Next

 

  • Log in using your My EE login details

 

  • Select the EE Smart Watch plan and agree to the Terms and conditions

 

  • Follow the instructions on your phone to complete the set up, your phone will notify you when your mobile connection is setup

    Please allow up to 4 hours for your data plan to activate and show on your device.

Where do I find that? This is what comes up when I go into wearable

Where did you purchase the watch? 

 

Did you get an option during set up to set up a mobile data plan?

Did you claim for the watch on the Samsung website or do you pay monthly for the watch?

The Samsung Watch you claimed on the Samsung website is the Bluetooth model this won't connect to cellular, this is why the add data plan is not showing.

So does this not have the facility to do this?. If so why did EE supply a additional sim when doing my upgrade stating this is for the watch

To check why a SIM was sent when you upgraded, please give us a call on 150 and the team can certainly look into this for you.
