Good evening ,

My fold 4 has developed a problem where the WiFi light is half lit and all use of WiFi is disabled .

EE took phone in to repair centre Cambridge and said it will be repaired .they sent me a quote of 700 plusvat to renew a faulty part in phone and told me I had dropped phone .this phone has never been dropped and always been in the case .

An employee at repair centre told me to get it insured and claim for a new one .

This is a fault with the galaxy fold 4 and EE please can you replace my phone asap .

Even a refurbished fold 4 or a repair needed ...

Disgusting service on signal too lately in Norfolk

Hi @Shaunhastings70,

Spoke to EE customer serviceand they basically I'm stuck with this half
working phone through no fault of my own till end of contract ..bad service
as it's a hardware issue when googling but Samsung sending me to EE and EE
doing nothing .I need this phone for work that's why I pay 100 a month !!!
Will NOT be renewing contract again with EE after being a loyal customer
for 20 years ...and signal getting worse day by day in Great Yarmouth too

Exactly the same issue here. I took the phone to EE ahop today and they said out of warranty because there was the smallest mark on one of the corners. I will be taking this further as this is clearly a hardware fault from the screen being folded.

I have dound that if you close the phone up and restart the phone the wifi will work again until the phone is unfolded.

Thanks for your email back .it is disgusting how EE can just say there's a
mark on it and void the warranty . I've spoken to EE and they not having
none of it to help me .. The repair centre told me to insure it and make a
claim .
Who are you going higher to ? Please keep in touch and let me know how you
get on , and hopefully we can both get a resolution soon as we have
apparently the best and most expensive phone on the market still ... Good
luck
