Hi all
I've had my phone (Samsung S10) for 6 - 7 years, the time has finally come to upgrade. I'm currently on the top sim package/deal; the one with worldwide roaming; Full Works, I think? Also have my broadband with EE, so have the EE One discount.
It's been a long time since I've changed phones and I'm out of touch with the process; how to get the best for my money. I see there is a BF deal on the S24. In theory, should I be able to just buy that outright, and continue with the same sim deal I have now? (appreciate that will likely be a couple of quid more).
The last time i went in store the fella had me looking at the S25, then he decided the S25 FE was best for me (it isn't, I've since researched). Ideally, I don't want to be walking out of the store paying double the monthly price that I currently am but, as I say, it's been a long time so not too sure what the best direction to go is.
Cheers

Hi @mufc88
Welcome to the community.
You can upgrade and choose a new deal for the phone, going onto a new contract (no longer SIM only). You can do that online, in an EE Store or over the phone on 150.
The other option directly through EE is the one that @bristolian mentioned above - choosing a SIM-free phone and continuing with the same SIM only plan.

Hi @mufc88
I would wait now as the S26 which is due in February. I would also consider buying the handset directly from Samsung over from EE and use EE for the great SIM only deals they have.
Even if you wait the deals will start to flow on the S25 in the next month/January.
Thanks
