S21 Reboot loop Stuck

So my S21 decided to reboot itself during normal use.  Now it's stuck in a permanent boot loop where it shows the "Samsung Galaxy" screen and then just reboots itself again.  Software was all up to date, nothing new was added recently, this just started happening.

Samsung did say they had a few reports of this, but a software update fixed it, but mine is up to date.

Any clues?  It's unusable at the moment 😞

Hi @Gareth2020

Can you boot into safe mode, does that work.

Thanks

Hi @Northerner

It just keeps going in this loop, can't even interrupt the boot sequence.  Every now and again it will complete the boot, but as soon as i start using the phone it goes into the reset / boot loop again.

Finally got it into Safe Mode, was solid online for 2 hours, so I deleted a couple of apps I'd installed last few days.  Turned safe mode off, started reboot looping again.  Any way of finding out which app is causing the issues?

Starting to reboot loop in safe mode too.  Only just starting happening today, been fine beforehand 😞

Hi @Katie_B

I've been speaking to Samsung as well at the weekend, looks like a massive fault, possibly caused by a software update (they're aware of a few phones doing this).  Tried Safe mode, Factory Reset, the lot, still reboots randomly and is just unusable at the moment .  And, of course, a month out of the 2 year warranty !!

Hi @Gareth2020

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Did they advise on a fix for this?

Unfortunately not, they only thing they've offered is a chargeable repair now as it's out of warranty 😞

Hi @Gareth2020

Boot into recovery and factory reset.

If that doesn't fix it then you'll need to have Samsung look at it becase it maybe your motherboard over software.

Thanks
