Ringer going quiet after 1st ring

Advice wanted please.

Recently when the mobile rings, the first ring is audible then although still ringing the sounds fades and becomes very quiet. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this. Volume is turned to full and I've checked the settings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks 😀

That is correct for iPhones yes, it seems Samsung does something similar

Put the Phone face down on a table or surface then ring the Phone, does it still only rings once.?

If you put your SIM card in another phone and receive a call, does the same thing happen or does it work as it should?

Thanks for your response I took myself to a Samsung Repair shop today and don't ask me how but they have fixed it.Thanks to everyone who gave their suggestions and help it was very much appreciated 😂Sent from my Galaxy
