Locked out of phone

Hi, for some reason I have forgot my pattern to open my phone, it’s a Samsung s20fe.

I have tried many times and I have to wait 24 hrs to retry.

I have not got remote unlock set up any ideas.

Does this look like a security lock on your phone?

For example you can set one up with a PIN choose by yourself which then lets you gain access to your phone once entering?

If not, is it asking for a PUK code?

What message are you seeing that asks you for a PIN?

Could it be a SIM PIN you are being asked for?
