I have just upgraded from a pixel 4a to a pixel 7a. My apps are greyed out

I have just upgraded from pixel 4a ti Pixel 7a. All of my apps have been copied across but many are greyed out. When I try and access them it says "The app for this icon isn't updated and to update it manually. When I do this it takes me to Google Chrome:Fast & secure but I cant get the app to update. What am I doing wrong? Any help welcomed.

Have you logged into the play store and then updated your apps.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Hi @Fat28bob- 

Go into settings and then Apps management and reset the apps preferences. Updating should by default open the play store app. 

Once reset open the play app and it may ask to set it as default.
