Hi all,
I am looking at upgrading from an iPhone to a Google Pixel.
I've had a Pixel before (it developed plenty of software faults) and I am aware of the quality control issues and the higher chance of getting a "dud" (I am a frequent visitor to r/GooglePixel) compared to other brands, but I am bored with iPhone and am a Google user.
My question is;
If I have a problem with the phone, do EE have their own internal Google Pixel repair specialists IN THE UK, who will deal with my phone quickly in this country, OR do EE use the dreadful and much complained about "CTDI" in Poland, which are Google's official repair partners, who have a proven reputation for scamming people sending their phones in for repair?
I am hoping that if my phone develops a fault, that EE will fix it in-house without sending it to CTDI for weeks at a time.
Anyone know?

Hi @PaulF1978
It depends on the issue but some repairs can be undertaken by EE specialists.
The Pixel devices are a lot more stable and reliable than they used to be.

Hi and thanks,
It's kind of "twice bitten, thrice shy" and I still see all the threads on Reddit with people having lots of problems even with the newest devices and I'm a little uncertain about taking the risk. That place in Poland is the official repair partner and it is terrible (speaking from experience) and I don't fancy having my phone go there again, even if it is via EE.

Hi @PaulF1978
Don't buy a Pixel then but another android device. You also need to remember the number of people on Reddit moaning are dwarfed by the number of people with no issues.
Personally I have always used Samsung and never had issues, my brother is the Pixel man and again has never had issues, lucky? No I don't believe in luck.
Thanks
