Offered Google 5 watch 50% discount not honoured by EE

I upgraded to a Pixel 11 Pro XL at your Westfield Shepherd's Bush, traded in my Pixel 9, and the new phone was delivered two days later. I understand there is currently a 50% offer on the Pixel Watch 5 when purchased with a Pixel 11 Pro XL. I asked to add the Pixel Watch 5 41mm Wi-Fi to my new EE account and receive the promotional price, and was told that it can't be done by customer service as well as the shop staff. I'm very disappointed.
