Home page has new symbol says welcome to EE ?

Today I have the EE on closed page when open phone as normal now I have a shamble on home page which says welcome to EE I have been with EE for years many so why ? And how to remove if I click it it won’t allow me to remove permission to stop notification? Which I don’t won’t 

why do I have to have it ? It’s my phone so my choice I thought

Not entirely sure of what the issue is from your description, however I will try to advise.

Notification settings and background use can be controlled by navigating to Profile (top right) > Settings > App Settings > and here you can either turn off all Push Notifications, and/or turn off "Share device location" as this is the feature which operates in the background.

Hi no it’s not an app it appeared to day ! When phone is  locked it shows EE that’s ok been for ever 

when you open sign in in the same place as the EE it’s now blue with 3 round shapes and a down wood arrow  I don’t know why it’s there or how I haven’t got the app but I can’t remove it ! If I open it it says welcome to EE but I have been with you for many years. Doesn't make sense it the says WeAre8 with a tick and below that says My EE only option given is to say yes but I do t won’t it I tried to remove delete but 

it won’t allow  can’t f8nd anywhere to do that

Hey there @madeline50.

This notification is just a heads up on some of the apps you can install to get the most from your EE service. 

Have you tried swiping this away?

As long as you either tap on it or swipe it away it should disappear.
