Galaxy Flip Z 6 front screen working but main screen all black

My phone has been working ok. Not had it long and will log with EE in the morning. Front screen on. I can see incoming calls and messages. However, when I open the phone the main screen is all black. So can see anything to change settings or make screen brighter.

I will be contacting EE in the morning. Just wondered if anyone else had same issue.

I imagine this is the last thing that you'd want from a brand new handset, but this is definitely something our team will be able to help look into all of your options with.

How did you get on with EE, I've only had the flip 6 for 4 months and it's got the same fault (apparently an issue with all the flip 6 phones, yet they haven't been recalled probably cause they don't pose a fire risk...as yet) We took mine into the store to be told that it's a repair job no chance of replacement despite the issue being known and the phone is clearly under the 6months that they have to offer a replacement within.

Just hoping that you had more luck than me lol to give me some hope cause the way it's going it will be repaired and in 4months time the same issue will occur and another 4 months and so it will go till I can upgrade again.

What exactly are the options being in the same situation we have just been told the only option is repair yet since I've not had the phone for more than  4 months we should have been offered an exchange/replacement but we were not in store, so I'm hoping you can shed some light on what the options actually are.

Can you tell me how you got on, I've had my phone since July 2024 and just had the same issue. Took my phone to the EE shop who sent it to be look at and they and now tell me the screen was damaged and asking almost £400 to fixed even though it had no damage what so ever when I took it.
