Upgraded to Galaxy A35 yesterday. Data transfer from old phone went well.  However when trying to ring the new phone goes straight to a previous unable to connect leave a message.   How can I get phone to receive incoming calls. Do not disturb is switched off.

What other settings could I try?

Thank you for any help.  I am not good with modern technology 🙂

This sounds like a combination of two issues.

1: Your phone has an "unconditional" divert all calls set. This can be checked via the call settings menu.

2: Your voicemail is either disabled or has an "extended absence greeting" set. The latter can be checked by calling VM on 222/speed-dial 1 and choosing "voicemail settings".

Texting VM ON to 150 should reset your diverts and ensure VM is activated.

Upgraded to new phone yesterday.  As per last message been unable to receive calls.  Goes straight to an old message from previous Galaxy phone.  Tried calling out and getting 'Not Registered on network' message.  Also no sim card message?

Other services working like Facebook and Whats App.

Removed and place sim card back in.   Do I need to take sim card from original phone???

Sorry for such basic questions.
