Does anyone else think EE is absolutely rubbish ?

Picture messaging is not usually included in a sim deal, did you have an “add-on” with BT or are you able to detail exactly what your sim deal with BT was.

Not sure, I was with BT for years. The thing is, I spoke to a EE rep and he promised to sort it out. But he actually did nothing. My old bill wasn't amended as he promised also pictures are still being charged even though the guy said they wouldn't be.

Sadly unless you had a deal with BT getting free MMS everyone has had to pay for pictures sent via text.
You obviously haven't read the small print when joining EE.

It was a phone call. I rang BT to pay my bill and was told BT is finishing, did I want to join EE ? The initial offer was better than the one I was on. Now, though, it's proving more expensive. If I was an untrusting individual, I'd swear EE didn't mention the extra charges on purpose. Just like the help rep promised to sort it out. Could it possibly be that EE are just economical with the truth ?

If you've sent MMS then you pay for them, 83p each with EE. They are not included in your allowance. The same went for BT but the cost was 40p each.

If you've been told that they're going to waive the charge then that's great. However, to expect them to waive charges every month if you continue to use MMS is insane. As others have said, MMS is not included unless you have a bundle. Other messaging options are available such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook messenger, etc.
