Galaxy Watch Ultra - Removed data plan, can't re-add.

I removed the data plan from my galaxy watch ultra after getting the persistent notification on my phone about my plan being set up.

I then tried to add the plan again and I'm getting this error message.

Screenshot_20250213_210847_Galaxy Watch7 Manager.jpg

Called 150 twice today, 1st time my esim was reset then the second time I was told I needed a new esim and I'd have to pay the postage and wait for it to be delivered or visit a store. I went to my closest store and was told I needed a new esim but they didn't have any cards.

I'm not really sure how I can add an esim using the wearable app anyway as it automatically connects to EE then gives me that error message, there doesnt seem to be a way to add one with a qr code or anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Andy

Hi @andypratt182

Thanks for coming to the community.

I'm not sure why you are being told that an eSIM would need to be sent or to go to the store to get one.

When you go into the Samsung Wearable app, does it show an EE plan under Settings and then Mobile Plans?

Michael

Thanks for the reply @Michael_D

I knew enough to know if I got an esim there's nothing I can do with it.

No, when I go into mobile plans I get the set up a mobile plan screen. When I click next on that it says connecting to provider and then that message comes up. There aren't any menu buttons on those screens or anything so I'm not sure there is much I can do myself.

Thanks Andy

Thanks @andypratt182

If it is giving the 519 error that was in your screenshot above, it would need to be something that our tech guides would need to help with.

They'd try to activate the eSIM from their end as you mentioned previously as part of the diagnostic but if they are unable to resolve it, they'd usually need to refer it on to our level 2 technical team for further assistance.

The best thing I can suggest would be to get back in touch with them again and speak to someone who is able to do this correctly.
