Hello,
I am currently trying to unlock a Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) from EE. I have entered the IMEI into the online tool, but the code it has provided is being stated as invalid when entered into the phone. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get the device unlocked, would it be best to take it into an EE store?

Sounds strange, but try and enter the last half of the unlocking code and then the first half.

Have you inserted a non-EE SIM 1st?

Yes, a non EE sim has been inserted. I have used an Asda Mobile (Vodaphone) SIM.

The phone prompts me to enter the unlock code when it is restarted, but when I enter the code which has been provided by EE it declines it and says it was invalid.

Hi Matt,
I have just unlocked a Samsung A10 with your suggestion. Been to the EE shop and they couldn't unlock it with the 16 digit unlock code. I put in the last 8 and then the first 8 and the phone unlocked. What I cannot believe why this instruction is not given after receiving the 16 digit unlock code from the online form?
Thanks Matt
