I have a Samsung Z Flip 5, it’s my 2nd one to develope the same fault on the screen.
The first one was replaced FOC in the first 14 days
Samsung want £318 to replace the screen as they say it’s not covered by their warranty
I could claim on my full cover with a £70 excess but why should I do that? I’m not at fault here. Plus, what happens if the replacement goes faulty in the same way.
It’s very frustrating!!

Hi @EXR834,
Welcome to the EE Community
I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your phone screen. Why is it Samsung have said the repair is not under their warranty?
We do offer in store repairs as well as pick up and drop off repairs to our repair centre if taking it to your nearest store is not an option. They will be able to take a look and advise if a warranty repair is possible Mobile Phone Repairs | EE 2-hour Repairs | EE
Regarding your question about the insurance claim and the replacement warranty, your replacement device will come with a warranty from EE for either the time period of what’s left of the manufacturer’s warranty, from the original device, or 30-day warranty, whichever is the longer.
