Hi,
Trying to unlock Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 that is locked to EE Network. I've got the 16 digit code from entering the IMEI number but it's not being accepted. I can't get anymore info about unlocking it from the email I was sent as it keeps returning to the enter IMEI number for the code link.
Any help/advice appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @DeKronk,
Welcome to the EE Community 🙂
With the 16 digit unlock code you receive, the first 8 digits are the unlock code, the last 8 digits are what is known as the MCK or unfreeze code. So for unlocking you should only enter the first 8 digits not the full 16 digit code.
If you enter the unlock code incorrectly too many times the phone would freeze and prevent any further attempts until the MCK code was used which is the last 8. So if that is happened you would enter the MCK code and then you will be able to enter the unlock code.
Hope this helps, let us know if that works for you.

Of course @Mohamedfajaz.
You can request an unlock code to unlock your device with any network by following the steps on our Device unlock page.
