The web player can be used to watch any of the channels on the "Live TV" tab, or any of the TV shows/movies on EE TV that you have purchased, rented, or are included as part of your subscription.
Your privately owned Apple TV is restricted to that same list - the full channel list is only available to watch on an Apple TV provided as part of your subscription. This is a content licensing restriction.
Any content that is included as part of your subscription (e.g. Now TV) can be watched in the Now TV app on any of their supported platforms.
Sorry for the confusion from our helpdesk agents.

Thank you for clarifying the intended platform restrictions.
However, my personally owned Apple TV is not simply showing a reduced/limited channel lineup — it is effectively showing no live channel listings at all within the EE TV app.
This appears inconsistent even with the behaviour you describe as “working as intended”.
If the intended behaviour is:
- limited Live TV access on personal Apple TV devices,
- but still access to the channels available through the “Live TV” tab and subscription content,
then my app does not currently appear to be functioning correctly.
At present, the EE TV app on my personal Apple TV does not provide usable channel listings or a functioning live TV experience at all.
This also contradicts what multiple EE support agents and technical support staff previously advised, including being told there was a known issue under investigation.
Could this please be reviewed again specifically in relation to:
- missing channel listings within the EE TV app on my personal Apple TV,
- rather than only the general policy regarding full channel access on non-EE hardware.

There are no channel listings in the EE TV app on Apple TV - just links to watch the channels live now, with a label showing what's currently on.
When you launch the EE TV app, press the back key or navigate left, and the side menu should appear - 3rd option down is Live TV.
Please ignore what you may have been told by the agents on the phone. As part of the development team for EE TV, I can assure you I know a lot more than they do.
